Guy Maori - Piano

Guy gives piano lessons at Music For Life. He is a pianist, fortepianist and harpsichordist. He obtained his Master of Music diploma from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where he had studied piano with Professor Naum Grubert. During his Master's in piano performance,Guy's passion and interest in historical keyboard instruments increased. That led him to pursue another Master's in historical pianos and harpsichord with Olga Pashchenko, Menno van Delftand Kris Verhelst at Conservatorium van Amsterdam.

Guy is active as a soloist, as well as a member of different ensembles. In 2020, Guy won the first prize in the Grachtenfestival Conservatorium Competition together with singer Maayan Licht as Duo Zeffiretti. He performed at Het Concertgebouw, Grachtenfestival, Podium Witteman on TV, NPO Radio 4 Festival, NTR's Zomerfestival, Early Music Festival in Utrecht, Festival Jong Talent in Schiermonnikoog and more. He also performed in France and Belgium and played in music festivals of the Jerusalem Music Center in Israel.

Guy has years of teaching experience, working with all ages and levels, including children with learning disabilities.
