Oliver Emmitt - Trombone

Oliver gives trombone lessons at Music For Life. He finished his bachelors in 2006 in Auckland New Zeeland. After studying he spent his time playing in every ensemble possible and ended up touring California, Korea, Australia, New Zeeland and Europe with various Pop Jazz and World music bands. Some of these being Batucada Sound Machine, Bannerman, Tiny Ruins, Ska Cubano, Steve Smith and Bob Mintzer. After 7 years break from studying he decided to do his Masters at the Amsterdam Conservatory and graduated in 2014. He now lives in Amsterdam and plays in many different projects including Molino, Metro Mara, Oh Thunder and the BVR big band. He has 10 years teaching experience and taught all age groups.
